Hippopotamuses

Today we read the story
"There's a Hippopotamus on the Roof Eating Cake"
by Hazel Edwards.
We coloured a hippo and wrote our own story on the back.
Don't our hippopotamuses look great.
Come and see them in our classroom.
You can see Boh holding his book in the photo.

Planting seeds

Today we went up to the courtyard to plant seeds with Barb.
We put them in a seed tray which has a cover to make it
into a mini hothouse. The seeds were pumpkin, peas, capsicum,
beans and a mini pumpkin. We will put the hothouse outside
day and watch them grow.

The AFL Footy Tour

There was great excitement in Woodend today when the Footy bus came to visit.
We even got to see the Premiership Cup, wow!
Then we lined up and got their autographs.
Thank you guys!

Young talent

Mathilda, Charlie, Darcie and Pippa are learning the violin
with Heather and Sasha. Don't you look wonderful girls!

Planting potatoes

Barb showed us the seed potatoes.
We planted the seed potatoes in trenches.
We made sure they are well covered.
 Good planting everyone.
We tasted the leaves of this kale.

Gingerbread men

Today we decorated a gingerbread man with lollies.
Then we told the story of the Gingerbread Man and
when we got to the part where the fox eats him we
ate ours! They were delicious.
Thanks Vicki for making the men.
Yum, yum. Do you like our castle?
