Gingerbread men

Today we decorated a gingerbread man with lollies.
Then we told the story of the Gingerbread Man and
when we got to the part where the fox eats him we
ate ours! They were delicious.
Thanks Vicki for making the men.
Yum, yum. Do you like our castle?

Measuring

Tilly took home the maths bag and did lots of activities
with her mum. Tilly is 110cms tall. That is 10cms more
than the metre ruler. Great work Tilly and thank you for
sharing all the activities with us.

More characters

Matthew made an orange person. His legs stick out. Isn't he funny!
Thomas made B3 out of a banana. He looks silly especially his smile.
Well done boys.

Making fruit and vegetable characters for the Daffodil Festival

Today we made all sorts of vegetable and fruit characters.
Mrs B and Barb will take these to the Kyneton Daffodil
Festival flower pavilion where they will be on display on
Saturday and Sunday. They look great everyone!
Hope you can make the flower show too.

A false leg

Frida's dad Udo brought in some of the false legs
that he makes. He told us about the Para Olympic
Games which are being held in London now. Some
of the Athletics will have limbs like these. This was
really interesting Udo, thank you. Frida  what a
fabulous mask you are wearing.

Brag Bag

Caden shared a wonderful collection of his treasures
with the class. It was great to hear his enthusiasm and
animation as he spoke. Thank you Caden.
It was also Hats for Helmet day which was raising
money for the local CFA.

Our Mini Olympics

Today we had a whole school mini Olympics.
The school captains Layla and Theo were the torch bearers
and two boys carried the Olympic flag.
We participated in lots of activities which were great fun.
The closing ceremony was held in the hall  and everyone from
the winning three countries got a medal.
It was a terrific way to spend a cold wet day in Woodend!
Well done everyone.

Our Olympic Medals

On Friday afternoon we decorated biscuits with icing and decorated them with marsh mellows.
We pretended they were medals. The best part was eating them, yum, yum.

Our Brag Bag

Thomas returns the brag bag and shares a favourite toy.
