Crazy Hair Day

Today was the last day of first term and Crazy Hair Day.

Look at all the colourful and exciting hairdos.   

Egg Heads

We put cotton wool into some empty eggs shells and sprinkled

on some seeds. Then we made a funny face on the shell. Every

day we watered the seeds and a week later the all had spiky hair.

Autumn Feast

Today we enjoyed a picnic lunch outside in the courtyard.

The food was prepared by our wonderful parents using

local and seasonal produce. Our hats are based on the 

book "Wombat Stew." Don't they look terrific.

Policeman Danny's Visit

Today Policeman Danny from the Woodend Police Station came

to talk to us about road safety. We had our photo taken on the

school crossing and in front of his Police car. 

The Vegetable Garden

Today we had lunch in our vegetable garden with JVG.

Look at those great rubbish free lunch boxes with delicious

treats inside.

Woodend Farmer's Market Saturday 3 March

Matthew, Isobel, Thomas and June, Faith and Nicole, Frida, Claire,

Anita and Darcie all enjoyed selling our produce at the Market.

Look at those yummy muffins, potatoes, rhubarb, cucumbers and 

zucchini. It was a pity about all the rain and cold which kept many

customers away. Thank you for your efforts everyone.

The Water Cycle

We dressed up as raindrops, clouds, the sun, mountains, rivers, the 

ocean and flowers. It was fun acting out the story of raindrops.
