Autumn harvest

We went down to the vegetable garden to see how our

winter vegies were growing and we found lots of 

ripe cherry tomatoes to eat. Yummy.

Our beautiful Oak Tree

The beautiful big oak tree outside our classroom is dropping leaves

all over the paths and garden. So today we went outside to pick up the

leaves. We filled 12 garbage bags and then we took them down to the

garden where we put them into the compost heaps. We hope they will rot

down over winter so we can put the compost onto the vegie garden in

the Spring. Thank you Barb for helping us learn about composting.
