Testing our Planes

We have been learning about Air and Wind.
We made our own paper aeroplanes and then we went
outside to fly them. Damien the pilot said "Prepare
for take-off" and our planes "took off."
Well done everyone.

Our Vegetable Garden

Today Barb took us down to the garden to see how our

winter vegetables are growing. Then we planted broad

beans in cups and put them in our classroom. We will be

able to water them and watch them grow. Thanks Barb.

Responsible Pet Ownership Visit

Making bread

We read the story of  'The Little Red Hen' and

learnt how bread is made. Boh and Owen are

kneading the dough for our bread. Caden is 

eating a slice of the gluten free loaf with Mrs B's

black berry jam. 

Friction

Benjamin taught us about friction. He rubbed his pen

very hard on his woolly hat and then he was able to 

pick up small pieces of tissue with the pen. 

We were all amazed!

Science Experiments

Today we watched two young Scientists at work.

Faith asked us to predict- do water and oil mix or 

do they separate? Can you see the result?

Mathilda brought in her magnets.

Autumn Walk

On Monday we went on our Autumn Walk. We walked up

the hill to the Bentinck and looked around the beautiful

gardens. We sat on a giant seat and had our photo taken.

Then we went to Mrs Davies house and had morning tea

in her pretty garden. We had lots of fun admiring all

the colourful leaves.
